Material
Material composition of the Zen collection:
Viscose 95% / Elastane 5%
Care instructions
Our viscose with elastane pieces are designed for comfort, movement and a beautiful, fluid drape. It is a soft, breathable and body-friendly fabric that requires slightly more delicate care in order to maintain its shape and quality.
Care guidelines
-
Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle
-
Use a mild detergent without harsh bleaching agents or enzymes
-
We recommend washing in a protective laundry bag to reduce friction and wear
-
Do not tumble dry
-
Air dry on a hanger or laid flat, away from direct sunlight
-
Iron if needed at a low temperature, on the reverse side
Why proper care matters
Viscose is a fibre of natural origin (derived from cellulose) that provides softness and breathability, while elastane ensures stretch and a comfortable fit.
The combination creates an exceptionally pleasant fabric, but it is more delicate when wet. Gentle washing and air drying are therefore essential to help the garment retain its shape.
Additional tips for long-lasting wear
1. Less is more
Wash the garment only when truly necessary. Viscose is breathable and can often be refreshed simply by airing.
2. Gentle wringing
Avoid strong wringing or twisting.
3. Reshape after washing
While the garment is still slightly damp, gently reshape it to its original form — this helps maintain its cut and drape.
4. Steam refresh instead of ironing
If possible, use steam to soften and smooth the fabric without direct pressure.
5. Storage
We recommend storing the garments on hangers.
6. Natural behaviour of viscose
Due to the natural structure of viscose, slight shrinkage after washing is normal; the garment will gently readjust to the body with wear.
Lace Care
Polyester lace with elastane is an exceptionally lightweight, stretchable and visually refined material that adds structure, texture and elegance to a garment. To preserve its shape, elasticity and delicate detailing, it requires gentle and thoughtful care.
Care guidelines
-
Wash at 30°C on a delicate cycle
-
Use a mild detergent (without bleach or harsh additives)
-
Always wash in a protective laundry bag to prevent snagging or tearing
-
Do not tumble dry
-
Air dry flat or on a hanger
-
Ironing is generally not necessary – if needed, use a very low temperature and iron on the reverse side
Why proper care matters
Polyester provides durability and shape retention, while elastane ensures flexibility and a comfortable fit.
However, lace has an open, textured structure that can easily catch, stretch or become distorted if handled roughly — which is why protection during washing is essential.
Additional tips for long-lasting wear
1. Avoid contact with sharp surfaces
Be mindful of jewellery, zips, handbags or rough textures that may snag the lace.
2. Handle gently when wet
When wet, the fabric is more delicate — lift and move the garment without pulling.
3. Avoid fabric softener
Fabric softener can coat the fibres and reduce the elasticity of elastane.
4. Air dry quickly
The material dries quickly, so additional heat is unnecessary and may damage elastic fibres.
5. Steam refresh instead of ironing
Use steam to soften and restore shape without applying pressure.
6. Storage
We recommend storing lace garments on hangers or carefully folded, away from rough materials (e.g. denim, zips, metal details).
7. Natural characteristics of lace
Due to the fine structure of lace, minor irregularities or subtle variations in the pattern are normal and give each piece its unique character.
With proper care, your FAB piece will maintain its softness, shape and elegant appearance, remaining a reliable part of your wardrobe for many seasons to come.
